Waste Transfer Station

Since 2015, Tiger Waste has successfully operated a fully licenced waste transfer and recycling facility.

In 2023, Tiger Waste completed the construction of our brand new, state-of-the-art indoor waste transfer and recycling facility.

This purpose built facility is located at 30 Couranga Cres, Hume. The facility is now open to all our commercial account customers.

The facilities operating hours are:

• Monday to Friday 6.30am to 4pm
• Saturday 6.30am to 10.30am

The 33,000m2 facility includes:

• 3,000m2 indoor recycling warehouse
• Purpose built indoor screening and picking station
• Indoor b-double loading facility
• Duel 20m weighbridges
• Semi trailer workshop
• Office and amenities

Tiger Waste is licenced by the ACT Government and Environmental Protection Authority to accept C&I, C&D and Putrescible waste.
