Tiger Skip Bins can be hired for the following periods:

1 Day hire – 24 hour period

3 Day hire

7 Day Hire

Mattress Disposal Fee

We do not charge for mattresses. However, at the time of booking you are obligated to notify Tiger Waste if you dispose of a mattress within the skip bin, failure to do so will incur non-conforming waste charges.

You can easily notify us of any mattresses for disposal by using our online ordering form.

Tyre Disposal Fee

We allow up to five car tyres to be disposed of withn your bin at no additional charge. For all additional tyres you are charged at the ACT Government rate of $5/tyre.

At the time of booking you are obligated to notify Tiger Waste if you dispose of tyre(s) within the skip bin, failure to do so will incur non-conforming waste charges.

Only light vehicle tyres may be disposed of within your skip bin.

Commercial disposal rates do apply for bulk tyre disposal.

1 – 5 tyres no charge
6 or more tyres please notify us when making your booking. This can easily be done when using our online order form

Tyre fees are in addition to skip bin hire rates.

Televisions and computer monitors fees

You are obligated to notify Tiger Waste if you dispose of a television or computer monitors within the skip bin, failure to do so will incur non-conforming waste charges. This can easily be done by using our online order form.

Televisions and computer monitors will be charged at the applicable government disposal rate and are in addition to the skip bin hire rates:

46cm or less $15
46cm to 54cm $24
54cm or greater $40

Recycling Bin Hire Rates:

Recycling bins are available in all sizes.

Recycling bin hire prices are available from our online booking form

Recycling bins must only contain one of the following uncontaminated products:

Clean bricks
Clean terracotta
Clean ceramics
Green waste
Clean fill
Rock
Concrete
All Metals
Cardboard and paper

Additional Fees and Charges

Excess bin weight (for light and heavy skip bins)

$122/tonne or part thereof

Return of non conforming waste to you

$110

Truck and Driver waiting time – applies for every 15 minutes after the first 15 minutes

Truck and Driver return fee – charged if driver is required to return to site if bin can not be delivered or collected as per booking

Late Payment fee - applies to account customer overdue by more than 14 days
